In this tour, you are going to explore Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater.

Day by day Itinerary
Arusha
Arusha National Park
After breakfast, you will go to the Momella Gate, the entrance to Arusha National Park. The park is one of the most beautiful national parks for its pretty flora and fauna. When in season, the park is covered by beautiful flowers of different colors and forms.
You can have a game drive and hike in the park. You can warm up at Ngurdoto Crater, which is 400 meters and three kilometers wide. The caldera houses an astonishing number of buffaloes, warthogs, and baboons inside the crater. The forest around the crater rim is surrounded by Hornbill, gorgeous Hartlaub’s turaco and Augur Buzzard.
Your tour continues northward to Lake Momella, where groups of shallow alkaline lake are covered by flamingos, hippo, zebra, and giraffe. Or you can go to the northern part of Ngurdoto Crater to spot blue monkey and very beautiful black and white colobus and the great views of Mount Kilimanjaro when in season.
Around the lake, you can encounter herds of buffaloes, giraffes, and elephants. After lunch, you can hike up the Meru crater. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger while you spy pretty baboons, beautiful birds like Verreaux’s eagle. By late evening you will be driven back to Arusha with an en route game drive.
Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara for a morning game drive. You will have lunch afterward. There will be another game drive in the afternoon on the way to the Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its fabulous pink flamingos and lion climbing tree adventures. Another interest in the park is its beautiful landscape. The park is located on the escarpment rising westward. You will spend time with lions, hippos, antelopes, impalas, and zebras just beside your safari vehicle. When in season, Lake Manyara is covered by flamingos, feeding algae into the lake shore.
Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Early morning, you will be lead to Serengeti National Park with a quiet afternoon game watching and photographing in the park. Today you have a long and interesting journey with game en route to the Nabi Hill Gate where you are going to spend your lunch while your driver pays the entrance fees.
You can take many photos of the Ngorongoro Crater and by late afternoon there will be a game viewing activity in Serengeti until sunset. After the sun sets in Serengeti National Park, you will stay overnight at the one of the Central Serengeti, Seronera Lodges and Camps.
Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro CRATER
You will wake up early morning to take a cup of coffee following early game drive in Serengeti National Park. You will go back to the campsite to pack and to take brunch and then you will depart for Ngorongoro.
In the Serengeti Plains, you can explore wild predators such as lions, cheetahs, and even the leopards kidding in the branches of trees. Flamingos and water birds are abundant on Lake Magadi, and lovebirds and kingfishers are abundant across Serengeti Seronera valley. Only in Serengeti, you will get to see millions of big wild mammals and maybe the wildebeest migration.
You will then depart with en route game watching across the Koppies of Serengeti to explore the cheetahs, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, Wild dogs, elephants, and small antelopes.
You will approach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area perhaps via Oldupai Gorge to see the concluded evidence of hominids fossil and footprints about the existence of early man that dates back to 2 million years ago. Later on, you will have dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge or Camp after taking your sunset photo of the crater view.
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will descend to the crater floor for about six hours of game drive. You will depart by afternoon with en route game watching. You will visit a Maasai market to take some souvenir and then you will go back to Arusha, reaching your hotel at evening. The 45-minute descend to the crater is a beautiful moment to experience especially in the morning hours.
It is a good time because you can see a lions from hunting, hippos returning into the water after whole night struggling for food, and a big number of angulates playing on the green grass making the crater floor.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area holds a great number of species of wild flowers.
Here you can also see the amazing natural crater with wonderful volcanic caldera and the Lake Magadi with flamingos. The Ngorongoro Crater floor, when in season, is flowered pink, red, and yellow especially in late May and early June. Also, Ngorongoro is where you can find the black rhino inside a small forest. By afternoon, you will ascend the crater to Tarangire for dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Safari Lodge/ with Camps.
